Meet Our Passionate, Knowledgeable Team of Teachers!

Tania is a passionate lifelong outdoor & nature enthusiast, adventurer and solo world traveler for the last 20+ yrs. She has found her purpose in helping other women reconnect with their own inherent bond to the natural world and reclaim the lost knowledge & wisdom of our ancestral grandmothers. She aims to inspire us all to recognize and utilize our innate powers as Women, intrinsically and inseparably linked to our Mother, Earth!  She is currently an Instructor-in-Training at The Earth School and practices herbalism and homesteading.
Stephanie Hein is a Certified Clinical Herbalist, trained in the methodologies of Scientific Herbalism, Vitalism, Folk Traditions, and the Wise Women tradition of nourishing the mind, body, and soul. She holds a degree in Clinical Herbalism from One World Healing Arts Institute (2009). In 2011, she completed a 200hr Hatha Yoga training to deepen her understanding and respect for breath, meditation, and movement. Her formal education is in the field of Biology, where she earned her Associates of Science in 2016. She has worked alongside Integrative Medical Doctors and traveled for health and wellness companies as a National Educator.

Shanais Pelka is Research and Development Manager for Organifi and founder of Seven Springs Organic Farm.  She is an herbalist, nutritionist, health educator and mother of three.  Shanais has been formulating nutritional products and supplements for twenty years and specializes in medicinal mushrooms and adaptogens.  She has a Master of Science in Nutrition and Herbology, a Master of Science in Education and an MBA. Shanais is passionate about food, herbs, medicinal mushrooms, sustainability and community. 
Alaric Pelka took her Permaculture Design Course on an off- the- grid sustainable community in Costa Rica. Alaric then went on to utilize her knowledge by managing a variety of organic farms across Central America and the West Coast. Alaric spends much of her time taking care of the livestock, composts, and gardens on the farm. Alaric is most passionate in helping people heal through nutrition, adventure, and farming. When Alaric is not on the farm, she works as a Canyoneering Guide.
Haley Frost grew up in Oregon on an organic farm, which has fostered a lifelong passion for regenerative agriculture, homesteading and herbalism. As an adult she has spent much of her time managing farms and working on an off- grid permaculture farm in Costa Rica. You can find Haley in her garden, or the kitchen, making small batches of organic body care products. She now has her own line of organic tallow products.









Abria Pelka is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She currently teaches at two competitive dance studios in North Carolina and Tennessee and has been dancing for 15 years! Her styles of dance include hip hop, jazz, jazz funk, contemporary, and more. She loves sharing her passion for dance with others and can’t wait to teach you all at the retreat.
Felipe Amigo is from Chile, South America and is passionate about sustainable agriculture and carpentry. He lived in Australia for 4 years where he studied horticulture and permaculture. He and his family own a 9-acre farm in Chile where they practice organic agriculture and eco-tourism.
Elisa Hepler is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Culinary Nutrition Expert. She enjoys sharing her personal story on how making specific dietary changes transformed her life and helped her overcome health issues.  Elisa has worked with clients 1:1, taught classes, and hosted workshops on the importance of including organic whole foods, herbs and functional mushrooms.  She spent a year in Hawaii developing her own retreat center where people could experience the benefits of healing through food and community. She has a drive to help others better understand the complexities of how nutrition and food affect the health of the body as a whole.
